Preston Brown
Vice President of Product Development

As Vice President of Product Development, Preston leads the product development team in continually advancing the Bronto infrastructure. A seasoned software professional, Preston thrives in dynamic, rapidly changing technical environments.

Prior to Bronto, Preston held a variety of roles over his 5-year tenure at Red Hat, including Manager of Desktop Software Development, Manager of Linux Operating System Development, and Director of Software Engineering. In addition to managing engineering teams, Preston helped guide the direction of many Red Hat Linux releases during a period of tremendous growth. Preston also served as Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions at Jacobs Capital, LLC. Through his broad experience with software development coupled with his finance background, he is the perfect liaison for balancing technological and business-centric goals.

Preston received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Yale University and a Master of Business Administration from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
