Continued Success in 2008 Drives Need For Expansion Open House February 26 To Celebrate

Durham, NC – February 26, 2009 – Email marketing service provider Bronto Software is bucking the economic trend. In the midst of negative economic news reports, the privately-owned company is busting at the seams and thus acquired adjacent space at the American Tobacco complex in Durham. The continuing growth in 2008 means the company needed to move into a space three times the size of its former offices for a total of 12,893 square feet. Bronto plans to fill the office with new hires and invites job seekers and local businesses to attend the open house February 26.

The office expansion is testament to the company's solid foundation.  Cash flow positive since inception, Bronto operates using an organic business model based on the simple formula that you can't spend what you don't have. These principles have led to a company-wide focus on the customer, which has consistently earned Bronto a 95%+ retention rate.  Bronto experienced double-digit growth every year since 2002 and remains a responsible, debt-free business.

Bronto's sense of responsibility carried through to the expanded office design as well.  Designed by Alliance Architecture and constructed using environmentally sound processes, Bronto plans to apply for silver LEED certification and will need to score points in several categories: Sustainable Sites, Water Efficiency, Energy and Atmosphere, Materials and Resources, Indoor Environmental Quality, and Innovative Design.  In the quest for this certification, many components, like doors and flooring, were recycled from the existing space.  Environmentally friendly materials were used for paint and carpeting, and recycled blue jeans serve as insulation. Bronto's location close to bus lines and bike paths, plus the benefits offered through the company-sponsored YMCA membership will earn points as well.

The open house will feature presentations and refreshments, plus attendees will have the opportunity to talk individually with Bronto employees.
