Bronto Software Announces Director Of Deliverability

Chris Kolbenschlag Brings 15 Years of Experience to Bronto

Durham, NC. -- April 28, 2010 - Bronto Software, a leading email marketing services provider, announced today that Chris Kolbenschlag has joined the team as Director of Deliverability. In his role, Chris will continue and build upon Bronto’s high standards for deliverability in addition to provide leadership to clients on industry trends, relevant best practices, and related technologies.

With more than fifteen years of experience, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge in ISP relations, CAN-SPAM compliancy, email deliverability best practices, and reputation monitoring to the Client Services team. He is actively involved in several industry groups, including EEC (Email Experience Council), MAAWG (Messaging Anti-Abuse Working Group), and ESPC (Email Sender and Provider Coalition).

Prior to Bronto, Chris served as Director of Deliverability and ISP Relations at Merkle, where he ensured high inbox delivery and advised the use of best practices to improve sender reputations. For seven years, Chris maintained relationships with ISPs, resolved issues, consulted with clients and monitored trends to keep current on industry topics.

Building on this experience, Chris brings to Bronto a knowledge base for clients to utilize in helping to improve and maintain their email sending reputation.
