Customer Service Department of the Year Award Recognizes Service Impact on Client Revenue

Durham, NC – June 23, 2010 - For two years in a row, email marketing service provider Bronto Software has been recognized by the American Business Awards with a Stevie Award for Customer Service Department of the Year. This award validates Bronto’s emphasis on service as a key component to email marketing strategy, helping clients drive more revenue from email marketing by providing best practice advice and fresh ideas to help them reach business goals.

This year, the award specifically honors Bronto's proactive approach to customer metrics. Knowing that marketers are bombarded with metrics every day, the Client Services team has been challenged to make complex metrics easy to understand so clients can improve revenue and reach other goals while maintaining a good email sending reputation. In the email marketing world, a business’s email reputation is a critical aspect of the marketing strategy but is made up of multiple, complicated components.  Since one of the guiding principles at Bronto is the concept that “making something easy is hard to do,” Bronto created a tool called the Sender Rating, so that clients have visibility into their email marketing reputation through a simple rating system based on a scale of 1-10. Client Services monitors these metrics and proactively contacts any clients with low scores to educate them and then collaborate on a personalized plan to improve their score.

More than 2,700 entries from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories. Company executives traveled to New York for the ceremony Monday, June 21st and accepted the award alongside other winners like Apple, Oracle, Ford Motor Company, Mozilla, and Samsung.
