November 17, 2011

Durham, NC - November 17, 2011 - Bronto Software, Inc., the leading cross-channel marketing platform for retailers and other commerce-focused companies, announced today that the Triangle Business Journal has awarded the company the 2011 Fast 50 award. Ranked at #18, this is Bronto's third consecutive appearance on the annual Fast 50 list, up from #34 last year. The awards recognize the fastest growing private companies in the Triangle.

“This year’s Fast 50 winners show tremendous strength in the face of turbulent markets,” says Triangle Business Journal Publisher Bryan Hamilton. “They are injecting cash into our economy and are on the forefront of creating jobs in our communities.”

“Bronto is honored to again be named to the Fast 50 list with some of the most savvy companies in the Triangle, said Joe Colopy, CEO of Bronto Software. Joe added, “We’re proud that we’ve been able to maintain strong growth over consecutive years while remaining organically funded.  Our growth has come in large part to our focus on the needs of retailers and other commerce-driven marketers and our dedication to client satisfaction."

Profiles of the honorees will be featured in a Fast 50 Awards special section in the November 18th issue of Triangle Business Journal. The Fast 50 winners were selected and ranked based on a formula that counts revenue growth and profitability in the preceding three years (2008-2010). The numbers are crunched and analyzed by PricewaterhouseCoopers, a Fast 50 partner for almost a decade.

Triangle Business Journal recognized the 50 fastest growing private companies in the Triangle at the 19th Annual 2011 Fast 50 Awards dinner Nov. 15th. Held at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel & Convention Center in RTP, the awards gala honored companies for their entrepreneurial excellence and achievements. The 2011 Fast 50 Awards program is a Triangle Business Journal event presented by PricewaterhouseCoopers and Bank of America. Profiles of the honorees were featured in a Fast 50 Awards special section, which is available to subscribers in the Nov. 18 issue of the paper and online at trianglebusinessjournal.com under Exclusive Subscriber Content.
