Bronto Software Wraps Up 2011 with Record-Breaking Growth
Durham, NC - January 11, 2012 - Bronto Software, the leading marketing platform for retailers and other commerce-focused companies, announced today that the company concluded 2011 with record growth. Bronto’s strong fourth quarter capped a year in which revenue grew 54% over 2010 and the company finished the year with 118 employees, a 40% increase from the end of 2010.

In keeping with its focus on commerce-driven companies, Bronto welcomed many new clients in the fourth quarter, including Adealio, ABC Carpet & Home, MotoSport, and Verilux. Strong customer growth fueled employee growth for Bronto, especially in client services. The company expanded its team by eleven employees in the quarter, filling positions in Account Management, Platform Engineering and Client Services. Bronto will continue hiring in 2012, with positions spanning across many areas of the company. Bronto also reached new heights in email volume for its clients, hitting a new daily email sending record in Q4.

Awards
- Bronto received the NCTA (North Carolina Technology Association) Software Company of the Year Award. This prestigious award was a recognition of Bronto’s contribution to the industry, community, state, and was based on achieving milestones of measurable success over the last year.
- Bronto also received the TBJ (Triangle Business Journal) Fast 50 Award, an award recognizing the fastest growing private companies in the Triangle.
- For the second year in a row, Bronto was named one of the Best Places to Work in the Triangle by TBJ.
Community Service
- Bronto wrapped up 2011 with 636 hours of volunteer time. Over 86% of Bronto employees donated volunteer time during the year, with 45 Brontos donating over eight hours.
- Most notably in Q4 2011, Bronto led the Ronald McDonald House of Durham’s Toy Drive, donating 85 gifts and over 60 hours of time staffing the gift room, and singing and performing songs for the visitors.
