Bronto Software Brings on Board 55 New Clients in Second Quarter 2004

Firm sees growing demand as it moves into expanded office space

(DURHAM, NC, August 3, 2004) - Bronto Software, a leading email management software company, announced today, record sales and client growth for the three month period ending June 30th. In response to this strong growth, the company has moved into expanded office space in the American Tobacco Historic District of Durham, N.C.

"We had a strong second quarter as demand for our web-based email management software continues to grow," said Joe Colopy, Bronto President. "Clients have found Bronto's web-based software to be a great tool for managing email contacts and sending out email newsletters and surveys."

Fifty-five clients were added during the second quarter including Lending Tree, Inc., Kaplan Professional Schools, Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Global Compliance Services and The Jamestown Foundation.

In addition to North America, Bronto continues to see strong demand from the European market. During the 2nd quarter, it added new international clients including U.K. based COMSYS and Lavant Associates.

The Jamestown Foundation, a non-profit focused on Eurasia policy issues and information discernment, signed on with Bronto in May 2004 to manage its email communications including daily monitors, weekly newsletters and press releases. "Bronto has been a valuable resource for our organization. Our primary means of distributing our publications is by email, and Bronto allows us to easily manage subscriber lists as well as send our Foundation members press releases, updates, and information on our events" says Chris Heffelfinger, Jamestown Foundation Publications Coordinator.

In July 2004, Bronto moved its operations and staff into the newly renovated American Tobacco Historic District in Durham, N.C. Adjacent to the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, American Tobacco is home to leading area firms including GlaxoSmithKline, Duke University, McKinney Silver and Intersouth Partners.
