Industry forecasts for the holiday season bode well for Bronto's online retail customers such as LCC. According to the "Online Holiday Retail Forecast: 2006" study recently conducted by JupiterResearch, a record 114 million users will buy online during the holidays. With the National Retail Federation's 2006 "Holiday Consumer Intentions and Actions Survey" showing that 47% of consumers are planning to purchase holiday items online, it is more important than ever for customers like LCC to employ email as part of their overall strategic marketing program.

LCC then resends the same email using a different subject and as a result has seen associated sales increase 50% while operating costs are kept the same.
