Due to recent updates to Google Chrome and Firefox, message previews in Bronto may no longer load properly in some cases. For example, on the Email Messages page, clicking the magnifying glass icon next to a message will open the preview window, but no message content will appear.

This is due to a change in the way Chrome and Firefox handle mixed image content. In general, this is a good thing, but it does affect this particular page in Bronto.

The good news is that it's very easy to disable the content block only in Bronto, while leaving it on for other pages. Here's what you need to do:

Firefox

When you land on the Email Messages page in Firefox (assuming you're using version 22 or later), you'll see a small shield icon in the top left of the URL field.

  1. Click the icon and you'll see a small pop-up, with a dropdown menu next to 'Keep Blocking.'
  2. From the dropdown menu, select 'Disable Protection on This Page.' The page should refresh.
  3. Click the message preview icon. Content will now load properly in the preview window.

Chrome

In Chrome, the issue is handled in a similar way. In the top right of the URL field, there will be a shield icon.

  1. Click the icon and you'll see a small pop-up with a 'Load unsafe script' button.

  1. Click the 'Load unsafe content' button. The page should refresh.
  2. Click the message preview icon. Content will now load properly in the preview window.

That's it for now!
